In an effort to progressively address environmental concerns regarding asphalt odor emission in their production community, the company actively sought out a cost-effective solution. Having been directed to Asphalt Solutions® they immediately tested a 55 gallon barrel and the results were successful as the odor was eliminated, as well as noticeable reduction in blue smoke.

The company has since made Asphalt Solutions® the odor reduction additive of choice. In 2001 alone, thirty 55gallon barrels were used.
