Materials Operations Manager, Dan Peressini recognized the odor emissions issues facing LVP as communities were growing around several major LVP plants. In an effort to thwart residential and in-plant complaints, Peressini sought out available additives that could eliminate the potential community relations problem.

Having implemented Asphalt Solutions AS Cherry in their polymer PG Oil production, Peressini immediately achieved odor reduction/elimination goals. Additionally, he experienced an overall reduction in blue smoke which allowed him to run approximately 10 degrees hotter overall. As LVP continues to expand its operations in residential areas, Peressini plans to continue to make Asphalt Solutions the prime source for daily odor emissions control.
